The laboratory conducts tests in the field of checking electrical, mechanical and climatic parameters as well as safety parameters of use and transport of all types of batteries and cells.
In order to ensure high quality of conducted tests and confirmation of competence for their performance, the Laboratory has implemented a management system in accordance with EN ISO / IEC 17025.

The scope of activity of the Laboratory for lithium ion cells and accumulators:

• capacity (discharge)
• cyclic resistance (durability)
• high-current discharge
• short-circuit current and internal resistance
• maximum allowable discharge current
• reload
• forced discharge
• short circuit
• resistance to prolonged charging
• cyclical temperature changes
• casing strength for high and low temperatures
• incorrect installation
• charging and discharging in various temperature ranges
• tests at reduced and elevated pressure, simulation of air transport
• resistance to increased humidity
• thermal shock tests in a special chamber with an elevator
• sinusoidal and random vibrations
• mechanical impacts

• hallmarking and dimensions
• security and transport tests
• fire propagation tests
• single failure tests
• checking the protection operation (overload, short circuit, overheating)

In addition, we have the ability to perform:
• demolition analysis of cells and batteries
• impedance
• Ultrasonic testing up to 400W
• temperature distribution studies with thermal imaging camera
• load with any current and voltage characteristic on VMP devices with an accuracy of 0.005%, acquisition time of 0.2 ms parameters
• research on connection properties in hybrid systems
• technical expertise, after failures
